Bailey HG, a Denver based sound healer, performs a tribute to the rest and restoration of the winter solstice with crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, chimes and her voice.

About Three Sides of a Story is the debut album of vocalist and composer, Bailey Hinkely Grogan. This newest artistic project is a series of multigenre vocal and instrumental duos, including works by Cher, Willie Nelson, Pat Methey, and Grogan herself. Like the title suggests, the duo concept consists of three perspectives: two from both musicians and one from the listener, creating a multi faceted listening experience. The masterful vocal stylings of Grogan are paired with inspiring performances by various Front Range based musicians, including Annie Booth (piano), Tim Wendel (guitar), Rocco Williams (vibraphone), and Matt Smiley (bass). This debut album encapsulates Grogan’s extended vocal ability and emotive musical style, while also capturing the immense talent of stand out instrumentalists in the Front Range.

About
Meditations is a series of improvised meditations recorded with various sound healing instruments including tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and voice. This album was recorded at The Tank for Sonic Arts in Rangely, Colorado.

Inspiration
From 2013-2016, i lost 6 family members from various illnesses. I remember feeling so lonely and lost in greif. In 2022 i decided i wanted to pursue a career as an end of life doula as that would have been something my family and myself would have loved having in our throws of loss. In this, i wanted to supliment this career with sound healing to incorporate my musical career.

After training with Akasha Devi, i began my journey of healing through singing bowls, chimes, but most importantly my voice. My mother, who has always supported my endeavors, gifted me a session to The Tank of Sonic Arts (TankSounds.org) and we spend a weekend in Rangely, CO recording this album. I am so excited to share this with you all.
